P&G Among Top 10 of NAFE 2013 Best Companies for Female Executives

Tuesday, February 5, 2013 10:49 am EST

The official award will come in March, but we couldn’t wait to bring this great news forward as Working Mother Magazine shared The National Association of Female Executives’ (NAFE) 2013 List of Best Companies for Female Executives. P&G ranked in the Top 10.

Each year, competition is tough and top companies are ranked and recognized based upon positive actions like board diversity (P&G has five female board members) and flexible work arrangements like P&G’s flex@work, a breakthrough new way of thinking about flexible working styles, enabling individuals to customize their work schedule in partnership with their immediate manager. flex@work has been highlighted consistently over the past year by leadership across all business units, supporting a culture that enables a truly flexible workforce.

William Gipson, Chief Diversity Officer, was pleased with the results, “Reaching the top 10 is a noteworthy milestone and a good indicator that we are indeed fostering a culture of inclusion. More than just the external recognition, it’s a signal to our employees that we value the work they do, and we want to make sure that everyone feels valued, included, and able to perform at their peak every day. We will accept this award on behalf of all the hard working women around the globe.”
