About The P&G, IOC Partnership

This year’s Games mark the beginning of a far-reaching global partnership between P&G and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that will span the next five Olympic Games, from London 2012 through the 2020 Olympic Games.

Through our Company and our leading brands, like Tide®/Ariel®, Gillette®, Pampers® and others, P&G is sponsoring more than 150 Olympians from all regions around the globe and is implementing a retailer program where brands and P&G come together in-store to support youth sports.

Saying Thank You, Mom

As the “Proud Sponsor of Moms” and a Worldwide Olympic Games sponsor, P&G is using its voice at the Olympic Games to say “Thank You Mom” to all moms everywhere. The Thank You Mom campaign, which is the biggest campaign in P&G’s 175-year history, kicked off in April and will run through the end of the Olympic Games on a variety of media channels and in-store with a worldwide retail program.

“Best Job,” a short film that celebrates the role moms play in raising Olympians and in raising great kids, has already garnered millions of views on You Tube.
