Custo Barcelona’s designs for this collection combined innovative textures and lots of sheers with architectural lines so Mar y Soul’s inspiration was to create a trendy nail look using a color blocking technique contrasting colors to match Custo Barcelona’s futuristic designs.
Below Mar y Soul tells you how to create this nail art in the comfort of your own home in just three easy steps using three radiant colors from the collection COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss. You can use the combination of colors selected by Mar y Soul or if dare create your own combinations!
First swipe some nail polish remover over your nails to get rid of any old polish or natural oils, this will help the color last longer. Then, apply a thin layer of Mint Mojito (#285) on the full nail. Let it dry completely before applying the second color.
Then, paint the left top corner of the nail in diagonal stripe with a contrasting color such as Go Go Mango (#245). Make sure you have a limited amount of paint on your brush to have more control.
Now, repeat step 2 with a smaller stripe on the tip of your nail with an additional contrasting color such as Peaches & Cream (#125).
