Fans can register on TailgateFan.com/Contest to compete for a chance to tailgate their way to Super Bowl XLVI
Public Company Information:
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Prilosec OTC and comedian Larry the Cable Guy are teaming up this season, searching for parking lot pros who know “A Better Way to Tailgate.”* From November 15, 2011 – January 4, 2012, fans can register and upload photos of their infamous pigskin parties on www.TailgateFan.com/Contest to win the ultimate Prilosec OTC prize pack, including the chance to showcase their tailgate style in Indianapolis and two tickets to Super Bowl XLVI.
On the quest to find America’s best football fiestas, Larry the Cable Guy will be making appearances at stadiums throughout the season, beginning in New York City on November 15, 2011. At each stop, attendees will be able to take advantage of his “A Better Way to Tailgate” tips and learn how to block the acid that causes frequent heartburn with Prilosec OTC.
“As a frequent heartburn sufferer and a die-hard football fan, Larry the Cable Guy wants Americans to recognize the importance of effectively treating their frequent heartburn,” said Phil McWaters, Brand Manager, Prilosec OTC for Procter & Gamble. “Fans can eat the foods they love and celebrate their love of the game this football season, making him a perfect partner for Prilosec OTC.”
The football tailgate is a true American art form, and Larry the Cable Guy has it down to a science. Being such an expert, he also is well aware of how the wrong combination of wings and bean dip can set even the biggest of super fans back a quarter…or two.
“Deep fried, dipped and drenched in sauce – that’s the type of food that I serve at my tailgates,” said Larry the Cable Guy. “The last thing I want to keep me from enjoying the game is my frequent heartburn. While taking Prilosec OTC for 14 days, I can be heartburn free on game day*. I can eat what I like – I’m not afraid of a plate of smoky ribs, spicy hot wings or last down heartburn.”
In fact, Larry the Cable Guy is so well versed in the ways of tailgating that he will be sharing his “tailgate stories” on www.TailgateFan.com, including: Sleeves are only going to end up covered in sauce. Save yourself the load of laundry and cut those suckers off.
Larry’s search will conclude on January 4, 2012, when he and Prilosec OTC will pick three “A Better Way to Tailgate” winners. Fans can register at www.TailgateFan.com/Contest until January 4, 2012 for a chance to tailgate their way to Indianapolis to compete for the title of the “A Better Way to Tailgate” challenge. Three grand prize winners will each win the ultimate Prilosec OTC tailgating prize pack, including the chance to showcase their tailgate style in Indianapolis and two (2) tickets to Super Bowl XLVI!
