Rob Lowe to Host 2012 P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards

TV and film actor to bring style and charm to fourth-annual awards ceremony in Toronto

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following in the well-heeled footsteps of Nia Vardalos, Queen Latifah and Kim Cattrall, P&G Beauty & Grooming welcomes Rob Lowe to host the 2012 P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards on Monday, November 19. The three-time Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, TV and film actor, and best-selling author will take centre stage as P&G Beauty & Grooming honours the best of Canada’s beauty, grooming and fashion editorial talent as well as top make-up artists, hair stylists, photographers, art directors and models. Known for his dapper style and charm, Lowe currently stars in the hit comedy Parks and Recreation and received several award nominations for his role on the longstanding drama series, The West Wing.

Now in its fourth year, the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards acknowledge excellence and promote talent in the Canadian beauty, grooming and fashion industry. Following a nationwide call for entries in July, a wide range of submissions, representing Canada’s leading magazines, newspapers, websites and blogs were received. The 2012 P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards features 15 categories, including a new addition for Best Art Direction:
