We wanted to share a couple of recent recognitions of note:

Debbie Majoras Named One of America's 50 Outstanding General Counsel

The National Law Journal has recognized P&G Chief Legal Officer and Secretary Debbie Majoras as one of the top in-house lawyers in the U.S.

The list of the top 50 leaders in the legal profession was chosen by the National Law Journal’s editors, with nominations from other attorneys and research by the Journal’s staff, focusing on achievements within the past five years.

The National Law Journal’s editors describe its 50 Outstanding General Counsel list as “50 lawyers who have mastered the multitude of skills demanded of today's in-house counsel. These attorneys head legal departments at some of the world's most important companies and organizations, and serve as models inside their companies and out in their communities.”

Debbie joined P&G in 2008 after serving as Chairman of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. As a member of P&G’s Global Leadership Council, she oversees P&G’s Legal and Government Relations department, which includes nearly 600 lawyers and other legal and government relations professionals around the world.

P&G Named Best Employer of Suisse Romande

Economic magazine Bilan named P&G the #1 Employer of Suisse Romande in the Multinational category, up from #3 last year—and #2 Overall, up from #4 last year. P&G has been in the Top 5 Overall since 2009—four of those times as either an Overall or Multinational category winner.

Companies in the ranking were evaluated against 11 criteria including training, diversity, working time arrangement, wage policy, holiday entitlement, well-being and Corporate Social Responsibility.
