P&G Honored at the 2010 Edison Awards for Innovation

Last night, we were honored to have our focus on innovation recognized at the 2010 Edison Awards. We received four Best New Product awards in the Consumer Packaged Goods non-food categories, winning two Gold and two Silver awards. These included:

 

  • Always Infinity Feminine Protection Pads won Gold in the Personal Care Segment, narrowly edging out COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation which took Silver.


  • Align Probiotic Food Supplement won Gold in the Consumer Drug Segment.


  • Bounce Dryer Bar took home Silver and Febreze Flameless Luminary In-Home Scent Delivery System was recognized as a finalists in the Household Segment category.


 

A.G. Lafley, former Chairman and CEO, was also recognized with the Edison Achievement Award—one of just a handful of business CEOs to ever receive the honor. The award recognizes distinguished business executives who have made a significant and lasting contribution to innovation. In his remarks, A.G. shared the award with P&Gers and external business partners, whose focus on consumer-centric, systematic innovation has helped P&G bring innovative, life-improving products to consumers.
