Filippo Passerini, President P&G Global Business Services (GBS) and Chief Information Officer, will be inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame Monday November 8.

Filippo will be honored for the way he has positioned IT as a strategic advantage for the business.

"I am honored and humbled to be included in such an esteemed group of individuals who have made significant contributions to our field. What I have learned above all else is that no amount of technology can replace the power of motivated and energized people.  People are central to transforming the way business is done," said Filippo about the honor.

Filippo has been with P&G for nearly three decades and has been a change agent – bringing tomorrow's technology to life today. Having been a competitive chess player, Filippo understands the value of having a good strategy and then acting upon it. Some of his major accomplishments include delivering the largest integration in P&G history in record breaking time, integrating IT and Global Business Services into a single global shared services organization and bringing to life "Best in Class" strategic partnerships.

Under Filippo's leadership, the GBS organization has saved the company more than $800 million and has more than doubled the speed and relevance of innovation. Filippo and his group of 7000 continue to create new business models that transform the way business is done. Congratulations Filippo!
